The deets about our albums
We believe that creating a wedding day album is essential to immortalizing such an epic day. Our printed albums are showstoppers when shared with special guests you welcome into your home. They are also a valuable heirloom to cherish for generations. Seriously. Imagine showing your grandchildren your wedding album while you’re sitting in your flying car! So crazy!
To keep it simple, we offer one impactful + customizable sized album. It's 8x12.
We do provide smaller albums as add on options, with the purchase of a wedding album. (Ex: Parent, grandparent albums, engagement session guest book, etc.)
We pre-design our albums to get the process started. We use our mad skillz to tell your story and remove any stress from you having to, including selecting 60-100 images from a gallery of over 600 images! Then we collaborate on your revisions. (instructions on how to get started are at the bottom of this page!) Scroll down if you're just here for that.
Continuing with the endless options that I really don’t want to overwhelm you too much with are:
• Album cover/spine material (leather, fabric, silk, etc.)
• The stitching color that binds the album together
• Cover photo(s)
• Embossing & blind embossing
• Paper type, and the list goes on for.ev.er..!
SHP wedding albums have thick, lay-flat pages that allow the images to span across the seam without compromising the image! Our albums are substantial and look awesome when open flat for viewing on a coffee table.
We hope this page clears things up for anyone that’s on the fence about turning their digital galleries into tangible, beautifully printed albums.

GET EXCITED!
It's time to start customizing your album! This is a collaborative effort, we are here for you if you need recommendations or advice!
You get two rounds of revisions, the initial revision and a final revision for any little tweaks you need to make based on the first round. Any revisions past two are $50 each.

spread by spread
swap and add photos
First, open your online gallery of images in one tab and your album design in another tab. This will be easy for you to look at the design spread by spread and refer to your gallery to see what photos you might want to add, swap, etc.
Fun fact:
You can also add in spreads (up to 30) if you want extra family formal photos, larger photos, more details, extra ceremony photos, etc!

Note your changes by using the blue comment bubble and dragging it to the photo you are referencing on the design.
The file names in your gallery are similar to this ex: "Sarah-Heppell-Photography-Jack-Jill-002-IMG_0008" So, for example, you want to put image "002" in place of image "354." Use the 3-digit number that comes after your names when referring to images!
We recommend swapping a vertically oriented image for another vertical and horizontally oriented image for a horizontal in order to keep the integrity of the design.

Choose your cover type, material, and cover photo, if you're using one. For cover material, we personally love the vintage charcoal (see photo). We have most swatches on hand if you want to see/feel them in person.
Also decide on any extras like a cameo cover, embossing (name/date on cover) or if you've added extra spreads.

EXTRA SPREADS
Album spreads are $100 per spread. A spread consists of two pages.
There is a 15 spread (30 page) minimum to print.
20-25 spreads is the sweet spot - it tells your story with over 100 images.
But if you want to go big and have it all the maximum spread size is 30 (60 pages)!!
All notes can be made on the album proofer software. But, please email Sarah or Jenn at info@sarahheppell.com with any questions, or if you need help with this process! Once you're done making revisions you can approve it and it will notify us. Once approved and final payment is made, we order! Albums typically arrive within two weeks of placing your order.
